Rental agreement, in plain language.
This is a summary so you know what you are signing before you sign it. The signed rental agreement is the document that governs, and it wins over anything on this page.
What you are renting
A Smartlift vacuum lifter, either the SL609 HLE RT or the SL1009 HLE, plus a ramp if you asked for one. It arrives charged, checked, and clean.
Rates
The rates stated in your quote apply. Your quote is itemized so the rental, the delivery, and the insurance appear as separate lines, and no line appears on the invoice that was not on the quote.
Insurance
A flat percentage of the rental subtotal, shown as its own line on your quote. It covers normal-use incidents. We walk you through what that means before you sign.
Delivery and pickup
We deliver and we collect. Delivery is priced per direction by road distance from our Tampa yard, so most rentals carry both. Pickup is waived on rentals longer than two months. There is no self-pickup. The unit is on our insurance in transit and we do not hand that risk to a customer.
Operators
Not included. Our driver walks your crew through the controls and the safety circuits on drop-off, and you have our phone number for the length of the rental. You are responsible for who operates it and for operating it safely.
If something goes wrong
If the unit fails during your rental through no fault of yours, we troubleshoot, swap, or credit. You do not lose the day because our machine stopped.
Cancelling and rescheduling
Cancel free up to 48 hours before drop-off. Inside 48 hours you can still reschedule at no charge. Cancelling outright inside 48 hours carries a 20 percent fee, because the truck and the day were already routed. When a named storm closes your jobsite we move the delivery to the next available day at no charge, or credit your account.
Payment
Credit card or wire and ACH. We do not take checks or cash.
Your responsibilities
Keep it secured, keep it dry-stored where you reasonably can, do not exceed the rated capacity for the reach you are using, and do not let anyone operate it who has not been through the walkthrough.
Liability and governing law
Florida law governs. The signed agreement sets out liability in full, and you should read that section rather than rely on this summary.
The signed agreement
We send it before delivery, not on the tailgate. Read it, ask about anything unclear, and sign it before the unit ships.

Something here unclear?
Call and ask. We would rather explain it now than argue about it later.
